I’m Thiago Pradi.
I live in Brazil.
I work for startups that design the future.

I’ve loved to work with computers since I was a little kid. When I was 12, I got my first computer and started to play with Linux and Python. I was fascinated by the idea that I could write a program that would execute and do something amazing.

As I got older, I started my career as a Software Engineer. I joined a computer science program in 2008, where I could deeply understand the magic behind a computer, and it's toolings and languages. During my computer science course, I've learned about this new and exciting language called Ruby, which had a super productive web framework called Rails.

For the next few years, I've worked on several startups using Ruby and Rails. The startups had a lot of success, and I've learned a lot about how to build web applications using the most modern tools and techniques. During this time, I've also grown into leadership positions, working for a few years as a Engineering Manager, and later on as a Head of Engineering.

Nowdays, I'm working as a Product Engineer at Arrows. Using Ruby, Rails and my expertise in product development, I'm helping the company shape the future of costumer collaboration for sales and onboarding teams using HubSpot.

On the personal note, I've also spent a few years working to get my Master's degree, where I created an application to teach children with autism about facial exprenssions. As side projects, I've also mantained a few Open Source projects, including Octopus, which was one of the most used Database Sharding implementations for ActiveRecord.
